Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as Tet Nguyen Tieu, is a special festival of Vietnamese people. Joining the bustling atmosphere of the Full Moon Festival, DDC recently organized a meaningful and warm “I’m Happy Mid-Autumn Festival” festival for all children and employees in the Southern region.
Held at Binh Tan District Children’s House on September 24, 2023, the festival was a great success and a memorable experience for children and their families with many interesting activities.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Lien – Deputy General Director, representative of Dai Dung Group, spoke at the festival that the company’s Board of Directors wants children to experience the traditional festival of the nation in a fun and cozy way.
Children can participate in 14 extremely interesting games, from familiar folk games to modern and creative games such as blindfolded bell ringing, can throwing, coconut bowling, bottle necklace throwing, statue painting, sand painting, archery, horse racing, darts… This activity not only helps children learn soft and motor skills but also creates wonderful, memorable moments.
Children can also meet and interact with legendary characters such as Sun Wukong, Uncle Cuoi, Ms. Hang, Mr. Dia and discover many more surprises with countless colorful fairy tales.
An indispensable special activity during the festival is the experience of making moon cakes. Making moon cakes by hand helps children better understand the meaning of the Lunar New Year and doubles the joy of enjoying the sweet results with their family.
Exciting musical performances and magical magic performances excellently conquered the hearts of 350 children attending the festival.
Representing Dai Dung Group, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Lien – Deputy General Director of DDC and representatives of DDC’s board of directors also presented special gifts to children with excellent academic achievements in the past school year.
In addition, DDC also has many valuable gifts such as backpacks, school kits, princess toy sets, lego sets… for lucky children participating in the festival.
DDC believes that, through the memorable activities in this “Happy Mid-Autumn Festival” festival this time, children have experienced a lot of joy, connected to the community, discovered and promoted creativity. This is also an opportunity for the whole family to enjoy quality time together and create many memorable memories.
