DAIDUNG CORPORATION HOLDS 2024 BUSINESS REVIEW CONFERENCE

On the morning of October 18, DaiDung Corporation (DDC) hosted the “2024 Business Review Conference.” This event went beyond evaluating operational performance and proposing approaches to enhance capabilities and optimize resources. It also set the direction for 2025 and outlined the company’s 2030 vision, aiming to achieve the strategic goals of Excellent Growth – Excellent Team – Excellent Governance – Excellent Service and Quality Sustainable Development. All efforts are inspired by the core values of Aspiration, Innovation, Quality, Integrity, and Sharing.

Speech by Chairman and CEO Trinh Tien Dung

The conference identified key markets contributing significantly to 2024’s sales and revenue and highlighted high-potential markets that are essential to sustainable growth. In 2025, DDC will further expand its network of representative offices in strategic markets, aiming for the USD 1 billion revenue target by 2030.

Despite challenges and fluctuations in Vietnam and globally, DDC achieved significant sales and revenue growth from key customers and strategic markets, maintaining a nearly 40% increase in sales compared to last year. By the end of the year, the Nghi Son and Vung Tau factories are set to officially begin operations, supplying components for crucial domestic and international projects. These efforts reflect DDC’s strong push to develop a LEED Gold-certified supply chain and enter the global green supply chain. Along this journey, DDC has also focused on technology upgrades and modern equipment purchases to meet the rigorous standards of contracted projects and align with market trends.

In 2024 alone, DDC’s technology and equipment upgrades surpassed VND 1,000 billion in investments.

“Going forward, DDC will continue to develop new product lines that meet carbon-neutrality trends. In addition, the demand for oversized structures, hydrogen-related products, and shipbuilding is growing rapidly, and DDC is fully equipped to meet these needs. These product lines will serve as the strategic and primary focus for Dai Dung,” emphasized Chairman and CEO Trinh Tien Dung at the event.

The digital transformation process has entered a new phase with the beta version of E-office rolled out to representatives from all divisions to evaluate practical requirements and unique operational factors. This evaluation will guide necessary adjustments to support DDC’s strategic objectives effectively.

To support growth, DDC continues to review and assess staff competencies and performance, implementing optimization measures that balance workload and ensure employees achieve a work-life balance, fostering career development opportunities.

In terms of corporate governance, DDC has finalized its organizational structure and is undergoing a restructuring to adhere to best governance practices. Key activities include restructuring the governance system for independence and transparency, establishing a Board of Directors diverse in expertise, age, and gender, creating an accurate and timely disclosure mechanism, setting up a robust risk management framework, and establishing specialized committees under the Board of Directors. These initiatives are being fast-tracked to lay the foundation for DDC’s IPO plans and to create new growth momentum toward its 2030 long-term objectives.

All initiatives will be pursued in parallel, propelling DDC forward in fulfilling its mission of “Proud bringing Vietnam to the World” and achieving its vision of becoming “The World’s Leading Steel Structure and Mechanical Engineering Corporation,” contributing to a strong and prosperous Vietnam.
