On April 15, 2024, at Long An Factory, DaiDung Corporation and Viet Xo Electromechanical Construction College coordinated to organize the graduation exam for more than 20 Welding Major College Students.
Training is associated with practical needs.
In recent years, DaiDung Corporation (DDC) has cooperated with many universities and colleges nationwide to coordinate training to improve students’ capacity and skills. The training content is diverse and practical, ensuring human resources meet and quickly adapt to job requirements immediately after graduation.
Before taking the graduation exam, the students spent 1.5 years studying at Viet Xo College and nearly six months practicing welding units at DDC. The two exams, which include theory and practical, are held at DDC’s Welding Training Center.

During this graduation exam, Mr Phuong Dang Huy, Principal of Viet Xo College, shared, “At Viet Xo Electromechanical Construction College, our Welding Major is one of the Degrees that meets ASEAN training standards. In the training and knowledge transfer model with DDC for more than six years, students study 60% of their time at school (equivalent to 3 semesters), 40% at the Corporation, are paid, and a labor contract is signed by DDC immediately after graduation.”
The Story From The Heart
Duy Phan Huu was born in 2001. He has had a passion for mechanical engineering since he was young and wished to succeed his father. Therefore, Duy dreams of building many simple houses, level 4 prefabricated houses, for underprivileged families in his hometown of Dong Thap, where he was born and raised. After six months of studying and working at the DaiDung factory, Duy has experienced and flexibly applied theoretical knowledge into practice, personally making diverse finished products for each project. Step by step, Duy understands more about his chosen profession to progress further on his career path.
One of the outstanding students in the graduation exam with an impressive score of 9.5/10, Phong Phan Van Hoai, who was born in 2003, expressed his emotion when receiving a reward worth 1 million VND from the DDC’s representative. At the same time, Phong is guaranteed by the school to get a job after graduation and signed a labor contract with DDC. In particular, Phong feels that the working environment is excellent when his colleagues are friendly, provide enthusiastic guidance, and offer competitive pay for the welding profession. Furthermore, the package includes dormitory accommodation.

The close cooperation between DDC and Viet Xo Electromechanical Construction College is a typical example of the sustainable development of education and training between schools and businesses.
