GRADUATION CEREMONY FOR THE MIDDLE MANAGEMENT TRAINING PROGRAM IN THE PRODUCTION SECTOR

To enhance the capacity of our team and meet the global human resource needs for the 2023-2030 strategic period, DaiDung Corporation continuously organizes training programs to develop our internal team. Special attention and investment are given to the development of middle management, ensuring they seize opportunities for career advancement.

Starting in April 2024, the Training & Development Department of DaiDung Corporation organized a training program for 25 middle managers from the production sector, including Long An, Binh Chanh, and An Ha factories. The training spanned 18 weeks and covered 8 foundational management skills, culminating in a project-based graduation report.

The program’s content structure included 30% theoretical training on management skills, 30% for discussions during each training session, and 40% dedicated to implementing real work projects that each student manages directly. These projects must be discussed, approved, and evaluated with the students’ direct supervisors. For the graduation project, students were required to develop a work project that needed to be implemented or a work objective that needed to be achieved by applying the 8 management skills they were trained in. This project would be one of the KPIs evaluated during the final PMS of the fiscal year (depending on the project’s timeline).

Another critical aspect of the program was the involvement of the factory directors, who played a significant role in agreeing on the training content, teaching directly, and evaluating the students’ projects. The ratio of professional trainers to factory directors was 70/30.

The first training course has been completed, with 11 out of 25 students graduating. Due to the strict requirements regarding attendance, project quality, and graduation report content, students who did not meet these requirements were not eligible to submit a graduation report and will need to attend subsequent courses.

The training program’s goal is to create a strong middle management team and improve the quality of the workforce. This, in turn, will enhance and develop execution capabilities, contributing to increased competitiveness and meeting the growth pace of DaiDung Corporation.

All these aspects are detailed through specific, real-life situations that have occurred and are occurring at DaiDung Corporation. The students will analyze, propose solutions, and optimize time, human resources, and materials to ensure the best quality and progress. At the same time, this process helps identify critical factors, process bottlenecks, and handling scenarios.

This program is part of DaiDung Corporation’s human resource development roadmap. Alongside supporting production and business activities, the program aims to help employees unlock their core competencies, orient their development path, and build an appropriate career trajectory. As a result, each individual will recognize their role and scope in executing DaiDung Corporation’s mission, aligning their personal career development with the company’s overall objectives.
