Dai Dung Group made a big splash by being chosen to supply steel structures for two 2022 World Cup stadiums in Qatar: Lusail Iconic and Ras Abu Aboud – 974. This huge success opened doors for Dai Dung and other Vietnamese steel companies to reach the Middle East market!
That exciting start led to a new opportunity in the Arabian Peninsula. Dai Dung was picked to provide steel structures for the Misk Ilmi Science and Technology Museum, a landmark project in Saudi Arabia. The project has a total investment of $700 million, with the steel contract worth $52 million.“Our team will finish and hand over the project to the owner by October 2025. It’s built and crafted to U.S. standards. As a key symbol of Saudi Arabia, it demands top quality, beauty, and a tight schedule,” shared Mr. Dao Nhat Duy, Dai Dung Group’s International Business Director.

The Misk IlmiMuseum isn’t just a place to store culture—it’s a hub to spark creativity and science research! Using steel makes it modern, flexible, and long-lasting, perfect for education and exhibitions. Steel also boosts beauty and keeps the building strong for years, supporting Saudi Arabia’s sustainable growth plan.
Just months before, Dai Dung finished delivering the final parts for the Powerhouse Parramatta Museum, a new icon in Australia. It’s the first public project to earn 6 green stars from the Green Building Council of Australia! With sustainable materials, zero carbon use, energy-saving design, water reuse, and natural light, this project—built with nearly 10,000 tons of Dai Dung steel—shows harmony with nature and care for the environment.

At the same time, Dai Dung is supplying earthquake-resistant steel frames for the Nihonbashi high-rise in Tokyo, Japan. This breakthrough project in the Land of the Rising Sun uses strict Japanese quake-proof standards and a modern HiDAX-R system to cut shaking by 50% and shorten vibration time to 1/10 of normal. It’s ready for big quakes like the 2011 Tohoku disaster and stands as a model for safe, green urban building. It’ll be ready in 2026!

DaiDung Group was honored for its achievements in its field of operation.
In mid-April, Dai Dung and its key product—super-heavy steel structures—were honored at the Top 50 Outstanding Businesses and Products of Ho Chi Minh City event. This award celebrates Dai Dung’s amazing work, shaping Vietnam’s steel and manufacturing industry. It boosts the city’s role as a growth leader, connecting the region and the world.
“We’re competing fairly with other countries in skills, technology, and steel production. To bring Vietnam to the world, we’ve grown markets on all continents,” said Mr. Trinh Tien Dung, Dai Dung Group’s Chairman and CEO.
Partners like BAE Systems, Europe’s top defense contractor, praise Dai Dung. Mr. Timothy Spratto, Vice President and Project Director at BAE, was impressed by Dai Dung’s heavy steel skills, project management, modern facilities, safe work environment, and on-time delivery. They’ve even shared upcoming projects! This came after Dai Dung successfully delivered super-heavy parts for the Shiplift System project in Florida, USA, for one of the world’s top warship lifting systems.
