DAIDUNG CORPORATION ACCOMPANIES NATIONAL ECONOMICS UNIVERSITY IN ORGANIZING REAL-WORLD EXPERIENCE FOR EXECUTIVE MBA STUDENTS

Recently, the spirit of “Sharing,” one of the five core values of Daidung Corporation (DDC), was once again strongly demonstrated as it supported and facilitated the Executive MBA students from National Economics University (NEU) to visit the An Ha Factory and participate in the strategic orientation consulting program for sustainable development of the Corporation.

Not only providing an environment for real-world experience and practical materials for project reports, DDC’s activity this time also aims to contribute to developing talents and a high-quality workforce for domestic and international enterprises. This is one of the factors contributing to DDC’s sustainable development roadmap, creating a foundation to achieve strategic objectives: Excellent Growth – Excellent Team – Excellent Management – Excellent Services and Quality – Sustainable Development.

The program aims to give the students an overview of the company’s real-world operations and strategic orientation amid the complex global situation. Additionally, the consultation session highlighted the role of enterprises in building, developing, and successfully positioning a Vietnamese brand in the worldwide market, as well as the values derived from the business philosophy of “All actions are directed toward sustainable development.”

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ta Van Loi, Director of the Institute of International Trade & Economics at NEU, shares at the event

At the event, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ta Van Loi, Director of the Institute of International Trade & Economics at NEU, shared that, in Vietnam, more and more corporations provide practical lessons that permeate into books and curricula, which hold immense real-world value. “When we study abroad, many programs cite examples and cases like Walt Disney and Coca-Cola, but no story from a Vietnamese company has appeared in global textbooks or educational materials. Therefore, I highly appreciate DDC’s transformation as a pioneer and a collaborator in education. DDC has overcome many business challenges, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. Not only did it overcome difficulties, but it also created advantages, differentiated itself, and leveraged its core capabilities. Just as students are taught, when looking at oneself, you must identify core competencies, transform them into differentiating capabilities, and finally turn them into competitive advantages. This is a very timely transformation for DDC,” Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ta Van Loi shared.

These real-world materials contribute to the student’s ability to gather information and complete their assigned project reports. Additionally, the students have made strategic proposals, such as increasing investment in R&D to develop green solutions, promoting automation, and building a risk management system to respond flexibly to potential challenges, focusing on high-tech, high-value-added products, and many other essential aspects.

At the event, DDC Chairman and CEO Trinh Tien Dung shared, “Currently, there are many challenges. But for us, challenges are the driving force to enhance capabilities and stimulate creativity to achieve our strategic goals.
