The North–South Railway Station is one of the largest and most important infrastructure projects in the Philippines. It spans over 147 km, with a total investment of USD 15.6 billion. The railway is designed to serve more than 800,000 passengers daily and is operated and managed under Japanese standards and quality.
Supervised by the Philippine Department of Transportation (DOTr), the project aims to improve public transport for people living in the Greater Manila area. It includes 36 stations and connects New Clark City in the north to Calamba in the south, linking the regions of Central Luzon, Metro Manila, and CALABARZON.
