DaiDung Group Sparks the Spirit to Break All Limits

The National Exhibition Center Co Loa – a huge and complex project in Vietnam – is not just a modern architectural symbol but also clear proof of Dai Dung Group’s skill and bold spirit in steel structures. A special workshop at Hanoi University of Civil Engineering brought engineers, experts, and students closer to the exciting stories, smart solutions, and top construction methods of this project. It was a chance to share knowledge and inspire creativity, hard work, and the drive to push past limits – values that have built Dai Dung’s name over 30 years!

The event started with Mr. Truong Xuan Co, Business and Project Development Director at Dai Dung Group, giving a big picture of Vietnam’s steel and manufacturing industry in the global supply chain. Dai Dung Group is seen as a top company, making big contributions to building Vietnam’s world-class brand through key projects in 60 countries and regions.

Students got a close look at the biggest challenges in modern steel structures, like the round steel design – a key part of the center, one of the world’s top 10 biggest exhibition hubs. With a 360m-wide, 57m-high dome using 17,000 tons of steel, it needs advanced skills and technology beyond normal standards.

Dai Dung Group stood out by turning big ideas into reality with smart designs, fast buying, strict construction, and smooth teamwork. Huge, heavy parts meet global standards, with every joint carefully checked for quality and long-term strength.

Mr. Truong Xuan Co, Director of Business Development and Projects of Dai Dung Group, spoke at the event.

The workshop dove into each step of design, buying, building, and setup. Real stories of challenges and how Dai Dung broke through limits inspired students, showing that construction grows with dreams, patience, and endless creativity.

Lively Q&A with teachers and students helped future engineers understand their role and opportunities in today’s construction world. Dai Dung Group stressed that each steel beam is not just material but a symbol of courage, patience, and the drive to build the future.
The event was more than a technical talk – it was an inspiring experience, pushing students to face and beat new challenges, creating strong projects in both skill and spirit.
