Dai Dung Group has officially become one of nearly 150 pioneering companies in the Ho Chi Minh City Green Business Association (HGBA), a network connecting businesses committed to green transformation and sustainable development.
Joining HGBA not only reflects Dai Dung’s strategic focus on comprehensive greening but also spreads a pioneering spirit, helping businesses build effective and practical green growth plans.

Beyond leading the way, Mr. Trinh Tien Dung, Chairman and CEO of Dai Dung Group, serves as a member of HGBA’s Executive Committee, reinforcing efforts to create a sustainable business ecosystem. With over 30 years in steel structures and mechanical manufacturing,
Dai Dung deeply understands its role in reducing environmental impact and boosting sustainable value in the supply chain. Over the years, the company has adopted green solutions: using energy-saving technology, optimizing material use, and improving production to cut emissions and protect the environment. Instead of just internal improvements, Dai Dung aims to standardize and make these efforts transparent through globally recognized certifications.

Recently, Dai Dung was certified by the British Standards Institution (BSI) for completing greenhouse gas emissions inventories under ISO 14064-1:2018 and ISO 14067:2018 standards. This milestone shows its commitment to transparent emissions reporting and readiness for international carbon regulations, like the EU’s CBAM, effective from 2026. Additionally, Dai Dung announced its EPD (Environmental Product Declaration) for key steel products, proving their eco-friendly lifecycle and boosting global supply chain competitiveness.
Currently, Dai Dung Group is the first in the steel and mechanical manufacturing industry to conduct emissions inventories under ISO 14064-1:2018 and ISO 14067:2018. In finance, Dai Dung is among the first mechanical firms to partner with BIDV, one of Vietnam’s four largest commercial banks, to develop green credit packages for investing in internationally certified factories, especially a high-tech factory in Thanh Hoa aiming for LEED Gold standards. Accessing green capital markets not only optimizes investment costs but also strategically enhances credibility and opens doors to international funds like the World Bank, ADB, and AFD.
Through HGBA, Dai Dung aims to collaborate with businesses, sharing practical experiences in green transformation, from emissions inventories and ESG standards to accessing support resources. Joining the association is a community commitment, supporting public policy and laying the foundation for a sustainable industrial ecosystem in Ho Chi Minh City and Vietnam.
At HGBA’s launch event, experts and policymakers stressed that without bold action today, Vietnam could face annual GDP losses of up to 14.5% by 2050 due to climate change impacts. In this context, green transformation is no longer optional but a must for businesses to survive and thrive in the global value chain.

Alongside HGBA, Dai Dung pledges to innovate technology, improve emissions management, advance ESG standardization, and actively share knowledge. Dai Dung’s presence in the green business network is not just a strategic move for the company but also inspires the community, driving practical and sustainable green growth planning and execution.
