Every year, DaiDung employee comes together to welcome the new spring, before coming back home from all regions of the country. The spring festival “3 Elite Regions – DaiDung Reaching Higher” on the 25th Luna January (February 4, 2024) took place at An Ha factory, with the participation of nearly 2,000 DaiDung members, dozens of international experts implementing this Tet festival and many partners of DDC.
As scheduled, every year, our collective at Dai Dung comes together to fully enjoy welcoming the new year before spreading the warmth of Saigon spring throughout the country. The “Enhancing Vietnamese Values – Empowering DDC Values” Year-End Party on the 25th of Tet (February 4, 2024) took place at An Ha Factory, with the participation of nearly 2,000 Dai Dung members, international experts who are implementing projects during this Tet holiday, and many partners of DDC.
One day before the festival, Dai Dung’s leadership and Labor Union organized the “Making Bánh Chưng Contest – Sharing Love for Tet” to raise funds to support the expenses for workers to return home for Tet. Over 300 Bánh Chưng were wrapped and cooked right at the factory, and all of them were sold out quickly at the spring fair!
The medley “This Tet, I’m Not Coming Home – Going to Return – Empowering DDC Values – Come to My Beloved Vietnamese People” from our Dai Dung office members took us through all the levels of love, nostalgia, pride, and enthusiastic emotions as we prepared to step into a happy new year!
Farewell to the tumultuous year of 2023, both globally and in Vietnam, the DaiDung collective persevered together, remained steadfast, and unitedly overcame countless difficulties and challenges. The Deputy General Director of the Operations Department announced remarkable achievements with impressive figures: 5,415 billion VND in revenue, growth 33% compared to 2022, simultaneous launch of 10 Strategic Projects, accelerating Digital Transformation, and advancing towards becoming a billion-dollar enterprise.
Emotions truly erupted when Mr. Pham Thanh Da – Director of Long An Factory announced the release of the book “Thực Túc Binh Cường” by author Trinh Tien Dung. The book not only emphasizes the philosophy of organizational operations “Driven by the internal strength of the team, together building a sustainable organization” but also affirms a life philosophy of the leaders “The contribution of each Dai Dung member is always respected, recognized, and appropriately rewarded”! In particular, the book announces the new salary and welfare program for the workers, equivalent to a 15% increase salary budget and ESOP policies, housing, tourism, skill enhancement training, etc.
The DDC leadership acknowledges and rewards outstanding teams and individuals from the past year. This year, Mr. Nguyen Van Dinh – Director of An Ha Factory, Mr. Pham Van Dinh – Deputy General Director, and Mr. Do Tri Tuan – Deputy General Director – on behalf of the leadership, were awarded 20 outstanding team titles and 180 outstanding individuals who have completed their assigned tasks.
The lucky draw this year was truly delightful! The joy continued to multiply as internal benefactors generously contributed! In addition to nearly 100 valuable lucky prizes, these benefactors continuously supported over 300 million VND to support workers in returning home for Tet!
As soon as the party ended, a spectacular fireworks display at the factory yard lit up the An Ha sky! The bright flowers welcome a hopeful 2024 and also “send off” the next 48m structure. We are so happy and would like to express our gratitude to the workers who built this super-long structure.
The year 2023 has come to a close! All the emotions, joys, and sorrows, have come to an end! All the challenges, hardships, and successes of the past year have also concluded! However, the feelings, the contributions of each member, and the values we have collectively built into a sustainable and proud Dai Dung brand will continue to be passed on to the Year of the Dragon 2024 and forever after!
