On the morning of May 7, DaiDung Group had the honor of welcoming His Excellency Bader Almatrooshi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Vietnam, for a visit and working session at the company’s headquarters. The meeting took place in a warm, open atmosphere, carrying significant implications for promoting strategic cooperation between DaiDung Group and partners in the Middle East region.
DaiDung Group Continues to Expand Its Reach into the Middle East Market
Sharing about the company’s development strategy, Mr. Trịnh Văn Huyên, Deputy General Director of DaiDung Group, stated: “DaiDung Gruop’s long-term goal is to focus on export development, particularly in strategic markets such as the Middle East and Japan. The Middle East is considered a market with immense potential. DaiDung Group has established a solid foundation in this region, including an international workforce actively participating in major projects. We are steadily expanding our production capacity, aiming to achieve an output of 500,000 tons per year by 2028.”
Mr. Huyên also highlighted DaiDung Group’s competitive advantages in Vietnam, including a high-quality workforce, synchronized infrastructure, and comprehensive supply capabilities in the steel structure sector. He expressed the company’s desire to establish connections and receive support from the Ambassador to engage more deeply in key projects in the UAE in the near future.
DaiDung Group Shared Plans to Invest in a Factory in the Middle East to Optimize Costs and Enhance Competitiveness
In response, His Excellency Bader Almatrooshi highly commended DaiDung Group’s production and construction capabilities, as well as its strategic vision. He emphasized: “2025 marks a significant milestone in UAE-Vietnam relations. In October last year, the two countries officially signed the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) – the first free trade agreement between Vietnam and an Arab nation. During that high-level visit, the leaders of both countries also agreed to elevate bilateral relations to a Comprehensive Partnership.”
According to the Ambassador, this is a pivotal moment, ushering in a new era of deeper cooperation not only in trade but also in investment, energy, innovation, and science and technology. “We are actively seeking investment opportunities in Vietnam and also expect Vietnamese businesses, such as DaiDung Group, to expand their presence in the UAE to better connect with potential projects,” he added.
The Event Opens New Prospects for DaiDung Group’s Growing Influence in Steel Structures and Mechanical Manufacturing
His Excellency Bader expressed his hope that DaiDung would soon establish a representative office in the UAE and shared additional information about large-scale projects currently underway in the region. “We are ready to facilitate connections for suitable projects and look forward to receiving further information from the company,” he noted.
DaiDung Group’s representatives affirmed that the company operates modern factories near deep-water ports in Vietnam, specializing in producing steel structures for major domestic and international projects. In addition to welcoming investments from the UAE, the company is exploring options to invest in building a factory or branch in the Middle East to optimize costs and strengthen competitiveness. During the event, both sides engaged in discussions and explored opportunities for bilateral investment cooperation.
The working session concluded on a positive note, paving the way for new expectations in DaiDung Group’s journey to expand globally. This marks a significant milestone, reinforcing the company’s commitment to elevating the Vietnamese brand on the global industrial map and aligning with the strategic cooperation trends between Vietnam and the UAE in this new phase of development.
