The recognition of Dai Dung Group as a Ho Chi Minh City Green Enterprise in 2025 takes place amid Vietnam’s strong push toward a low-emission growth transition. For the mechanical engineering, manufacturing, and steel structure sector, this milestone demonstrates that the pathway to global integration through sustainable development is gradually taking shape. The event is held on a triennial basis.
This achievement not only reflects the efforts of an individual enterprise, but also highlights the clear momentum of the mechanical engineering, manufacturing, and steel structure sector in its green transformation journey. As a foundational industry, mechanical engineering has long faced significant pressure from requirements to reduce emissions, energy consumption, and to comply with increasingly stringent environmental standards from international markets. In this context, embracing sustainable development is becoming an essential condition for the industry to maintain long-term competitiveness.

DaiDung Group has built its strategy on comprehensive standardization and sustainable governance, viewing these as the core foundation for growth. As of mid-2025, the company holds more than 33 international certifications covering quality management systems, environmental management, occupational health and safety, product standards, and certifications related to greenhouse gas inventory and emissions transparency such as ISO 14064, ISO 14067, EPD, and CBAM. These systems have been implemented consistently across all member factories, creating a unified operational chain throughout the Group.
Notably, by simultaneously meeting “passport” standards required in highly demanding markets—such as ASME U/S Stamp (United States), EN 1090-1 EXC4 (Europe), H-Grade (Japan), AISC (United States), CWB (Canada), and AS/NZS 5131 (Australia–New Zealand)—DaiDung Group has positioned itself among Vietnam’s leading enterprises qualified to participate in large-scale energy, heavy industry, and green construction projects. Building on this foundation, DaiDung Group –branded mechanical engineering and steel structure products have been delivered to numerous projects across North America, Europe, the Middle East, Australia, Canada, and Japan—markets that require not only advanced technical capabilities but also strict compliance with emissions reduction, safety, and ESG transparency standards.

DaiDung Group’s green operational capability is further demonstrated by its ability to access green finance—an increasingly important benchmark of corporate credibility and governance capacity in the global context. At the end of 2024, the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) signed a green credit agreement to finance the Nghi Son High-Tech Mechanical Engineering Factory Project in Thanh Hoa Province. The project spans more than 45 hectares, with an initial capacity of 75,000 tons per year, and is designed and operated in accordance with LEED Gold green building standards, serving the energy, industrial, and infrastructure sectors.
In addition to the Nghi Son facility, DaiDung Group’s High-Tech Mechanical Engineering Factory in Vung Tau covers more than 10 hectares (Phase 1) with a designed capacity of nearly 87,000 tons of steel structures per year. All factories are designed to LEED Gold standards and incorporate solvent-free painting lines, rooftop solar power systems, and circular water treatment technologies, aiming toward an energy-efficient and low-emission production model.
As Vietnam has committed to achieving carbon neutrality by 2050, the role of pioneering enterprises such as Dai Dung is becoming increasingly evident. Being honored as a Ho Chi Minh City Green Enterprise in 2025 is not only a recognition of one company’s transformation journey, but also a clear indication that Vietnam’s mechanical engineering and steel structure industry is fully capable of deeply integrating into the global supply chain through sustainable development—when guided by long-term vision, a solid foundation of standards, and strong environmental responsibility.
