In support of Workers’ Month and the 2025 Occupational Safety and Health Action Month, DaiDung Central teamed up with the Quang Ngai Province Police’s Fire Prevention and Rescue Department (PC07) to hold a fire and rescue drill at the company’s factory.
Yearly Fire Drill at DaiDung Central
The drill saw 600 factory workers join in, with 32 members of the on-site fire team using the factory’s equipment to put out a pretend fire, and 10 others guiding people to a safe meeting point. Also, 24 officers from Quang Ngai’s Fire and Rescue Police brought 1 command vehicle, 1 water truck, 2 fire trucks, and 1 ambulance to join the drill. DaiDung Central holds this event every year to boost teamwork and raise awareness about fire safety, especially during long, hot weather that raises fire risks in industrial areas.
The 2025 drill followed a plan approved by PC07, acting out a fire breaking out at the factory with many workers inside. When the alarm sounded, the on-site team quickly guided workers to safety and started emergency fire-fighting. The Quang Ngai Fire and Rescue Police then arrived to help control the fire and save people as planned.
Careful Planning and Strong Results
Through the drill, workers got hands-on practice, building skills to handle emergencies and learning the importance of fire safety at work. It also let the team check equipment and on-site fire-fighting ability, making fixes if needed. For the fire police, the drill helped them understand the factory’s layout, roads, water sources, and fire risks, key for fast, smart action to limit damage in real emergencies.
