Südwolle Group Inaugurates Second Dyeing and Weaving Factory in Vietnam

On the morning of April 9, 2025, Ninh Thuan Dyeing Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Germany’s Südwolle Group, celebrated the grand opening of its Ninh Thuan Dyeing and Weaving Factory at Du Long Industrial Park. This marks the second facility of the world-leading textile group in Vietnam and the second time DaiDung Group has been chosen as the general contractor for a Südwolle project.
This foreign direct investment (FDI) project, with a total investment exceeding $21 million, spans a 3-hectare site. It produces high-quality worsted yarns from pure wool and wool blends for weaving, circular knitting, and flat knitting, utilizing advanced German manufacturing and eco-friendly processing technologies.
The Ninh Thuan factory of Südwolle Group officially begins operations.
Faced with stringent requirements for architectural design, environmental impact, space optimization, and tight timelines, DaiDung Group outshone numerous prominent competitors to secure the role of general contractor. “Meeting the demands for design, technical expertise, and, above all, the relentless dedication of our team to ensure quality and progress were the key factors that earned DaiDung this opportunity,” said Mr. Hồ Hoài Trung, Director of Business and Projects at DaiDung Group.
Previously, Südwolle, a global leader in worsted wool yarn, established one of the world’s most advanced spinning mills in Da Lat. Together with the Ninh Thuan facility, the group aims to revolutionize the dyeing process, offering competitive advantages such as faster delivery times. Both factories were designed and constructed by DaiDung Group. “With a team of seasoned professionals experienced in large-scale general contracting projects, DaiDung Group has proven its comprehensive capabilities and solidified its position as a top choice for critical, high-impact projects,” Mr. Trung added.

Notable projects include: Nihonbashi Tower (Tokyo’s green landmark), Fehmarn Belt Fixed Link (the world’s longest underwater tunnel), Powerhouse Parramatta (Australia’s iconic structure), Misk Museum (Saudi Arabia’s cultural symbol), Lusail Stadium (Qatar’s World Cup centerpiece), Shiplift System (the largest military lifting platform for the U.S. with state-of-the-art technology), Cambodia Airport (a national icon), Hoa Phat Warehouse (Vietnam’s largest 170m-span warehouse), and the Co Loa National Exhibition and Fair Center (among the world’s top 10 largest exhibition centers), alongside many other significant projects.
The success of Südwolle’s second project, with DaiDung as the general contractor, opens new prospects for future collaboration.
As the steel structure contractor for projects of critical importance across over 50 countries and territories, DaiDung has demonstrated its ability to deliver steel solutions meeting the highest global standards. These achievements have significantly elevated Vietnam’s steel structure and mechanical engineering industries, securing a strong position in the global market and pioneering sustainable development in the sector. Today, DaiDung Group continues to make bold strides toward becoming a leading general contractor in the region.
