THE ONE WHO “SOWS THE SPRING SEEDS”

More than four years ago, the National Action Program for Children for the 2021–2030 period was officially approved by the Government, serving as a driving force for individuals and organizations to take action, ensuring that Vietnamese children grow up in a safe, healthy, and friendly environment. At the same time, it aims to build a high-quality workforce for the future. These efforts also contribute to achieving the goals of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. Notably, from a very early stage, DaiDung Group has quietly but resolutely implemented a series of initiatives to care for future generations.

For many years, DaiDung Group has been dedicated to creating a safe, healthy, and friendly environment for children to grow and thrive.

Unwavering Efforts

On its continuous journey of growth, DaiDung Group has been actively implementing practical initiatives to care for children and provide them with a better life. Programs such as “Mẹ Đỡ Đầu – Kết Nối Yêu Thương” (Foster Mothers – Connecting Love), “Tết Yêu Thương” (Loving Tet), and “Nhà Tình Thương” (Charity Homes) serve as clear testaments to the group’s long-term commitment to the community. These initiatives are not merely acts of charity but are an integral part of DaiDung Group’s long-term development strategy, aimed at ensuring stability for families and fostering the best possible environment for children to grow.

Programs Designed, Evaluated for Effectiveness, and Implemented Long-Term

This explains why, even during the final days of the year—when both frontline and support teams are working tirelessly around the clock, braving harsh weather conditions to ensure the timely completion of key domestic and international projects—DaiDung Group remains dedicated to dividing its resources to closely engage in and support child care initiatives across the country. A prime example is the group’s visits to Lagi (Bình Thuận), where they provided Tet gifts and financial sponsorship for nearly 100 children at the Gierado Shelter. The team also traveled to Thanh Hoa, collaborating with the Thanh Hoa Women’s Union to host a New Year gathering and distribute Tet gifts to 365 children under their sponsorship in various districts, including Vinh Loc, Yen Dinh, Tho Xuan, Ha Trung, Quang Xuong, Thach Thanh, Nghi Son Town, Muong Lat, Lang Chanh, Quan Hoa, Quan Son, and Ba Thuoc. Between 2022 and 2024, DaiDung Group has allocated a total budget of 3.3 billion VND to support and care for these children, reinforcing its commitment to social responsibility and sustainable community development.

DaiDung has also partnered with the Quê Hương Humanitarian Center (Binh Thuan) to care for hundreds of children, allocating an annual budget of 1 billion VND. In addition, the company has contributed to the renovation and upgrade of two of the center’s facilities. Beyond that, DaiDung has collaborated with the Binh Chanh Women’s Union (Ho Chi Minh City) to support nearly 200 children affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, committing 200 million VND per year to their care and well-being.

Since 2022, DaiDung has partnered with local authorities in various districts of Thanh Hoa to fund the construction of seven houses for children, with each house costing 400 million VND. The company has also collaborated with the Thanh Hoa Entrepreneurs Club in Ho Chi Minh City and the southern region to support the construction of multiple charity bridges in Thanh Hoa province.

These initiatives are just a few examples of the many actions DaiDung Group has undertaken to enhance social welfare and improve children’s lives. Notably, these efforts are carried out in parallel with the company’s business growth, demonstrating its commitment to both economic development and social responsibility.

Aiming to Develop a High-Quality Workforce

With a long-term vision, DaiDung Group not only focuses on caring for children but also aspires to inspire and spread this spirit across the business community nationwide.

The Master’s research delegation from the National Economics University gained hands-on experience at DaiDung Group’s An Ha factory.

DaiDung Group believes that the country’s development depends on building a high-quality workforce. Therefore, alongside child care initiatives, the corporation also prioritizes training and human resource development, laying a solid foundation for the nation’s future. The group has partnered with universities such as the National Economics University to organize practical experience programs for master’s research students, equipping them with essential skills to thrive in real-world business environments. Over the years, DaiDung has also collaborated with numerous universities and colleges nationwide to enhance students’ competencies and technical skills. The training programs are designed to be practical and industry-relevant, ensuring that graduates are well-prepared and can quickly adapt to job requirements. This approach reflects DaiDung Group’s commitment to developing a high-quality workforce and contributing to the overall prosperity of society.

DaiDung Group’s initiatives not only make a tangible contribution to the Government’s child development and education strategies but also serve as a powerful source of inspiration, encouraging individuals, organizations, and the business community to join hands in building a prosperous, fair, and sustainable society. This is how DaiDung plants the “seeds of spring” across the nation.
