Fire Safety Drill at DaiDung Long An Factory: Enhancing Safety Across the Industrial Production Ecosystem

Amid increasingly stringent safety requirements across the industrial sector, DaiDung Long An Factory conducted its periodic fire prevention and firefighting (FPFF) drill, emphasizing the strategy “Safety as the foundation – People at the center.” This activity is one of the key initiatives within the Group’s annual risk-response capacity enhancement program, consistently implemented across its entire factory system.

In late November, the drill was conducted based on a simulated scenario closely aligned with actual operating conditions, requiring the on-site response team to implement the full emergency response procedure—from incident detection and alarm activation to evacuation guidance, fire containment, and extinguishment. Given the plant’s continuous production operations, high workforce density, and extensive use of heavy industrial equipment, conducting drills under realistic emergency simulations is a mandatory requirement to ensure swift and accurate responses when incidents occur.

During the simulated situation, the on-site fire prevention and firefighting team deployed formations in accordance with regulations, utilized specialized equipment to control the fire, and carried out rescue operations for affected individuals. The seamless coordination among departments demonstrated the team’s proactive readiness during the “golden time,” a critical factor in determining response effectiveness and minimizing potential damage.

Beyond technical training, fire prevention and firefighting drills also contribute to building a safety culture from the ground up—standardizing operating procedures, raising awareness, and fostering preventive habits across the entire workforce. On a broader scale, across DaiDung’s six factories, these efforts are implemented on a regular basis through equipment inspections, professional training, and the development of multiple response scenarios tailored to the specific characteristics of each production area. As a result, operational teams consistently maintain vigilance and proactive readiness toward potential risk situations.

Previously, DaiDung Long An Factory was honored for meeting the “Safe Environment and Occupational Hygiene” standards, recognizing the unit’s efforts in maintaining a modern, safe working environment in full compliance with relevant regulations. This recognition affirms that fire prevention and firefighting is not a procedural formality, but an integral component of the Group’s risk management framework and sustainable development strategy.

Toward the year-end period, when production intensity increases and the risk of incidents rises accordingly, fire prevention and firefighting drills serve as an important reminder of the need for thorough preparedness. Each implemented scenario represents a practical test of coordination among people, equipment, and procedures, with the objective of safeguarding employees’ lives and ensuring the stable operation of production lines.

Maintaining periodic drills enables the enterprise to comply with legal requirements while addressing practical needs for risk prevention, asset protection, and strengthening employee confidence. In an industrial landscape that increasingly emphasizes safety standards and social responsibility, these activities further reinforce DaiDung’s commitment to sustainable development.
